Ann Sommer's path through medicine reads like a masterclass in breadth. From a surgical residency at a Yale-affiliated Level 1 trauma center to orthopedics in New Mexico, general and vascular surgery in California, gastroenterology, and over 14 years in OB/GYN at Marshfield Clinic — Ann has built one of the most diverse and demanding clinical resumes in the region.

As a Physician Assistant in OB/GYN, Ann worked across the operating room, clinic, and hospital, first-assisting in complex surgeries, managing post-operative care, and working alongside gynecology oncology specialists — and spent years mentoring PA and medical students.

But Ann's impact goes beyond the clinical.
