Candy Strey came to primary care the long way — and patients are better for it. After more than two decades in oncology nursing and practice, she arrived at LINK Healthcare with a depth of clinical experience that most family practice providers simply don't have. She has walked alongside patients through some of the hardest moments of their lives, and she brings that quiet strength and commitment to every encounter.

Candy is a board-certified family nurse practitioner dedicated to caring for patients of all ages. Her professional philosophy is rooted in evidence-based practice and holistic care — she believes that true health encompasses the whole person, not just the diagnosis. Primary prevention and wellness promotion are central to how she practices medicine.

“I enjoy working with each person to consider lifestyle choices and formulating a plan to promote overall wellness,” Candy shares. “Each client comes with his or her own story — I want to partner with each person to develop goals that are realistic and attainable, to focus on living the best life possible.”

Growing up on a dairy farm instilled in Candy a deep sense of hard work, self-motivation, and responsibility to community. Those values show up in how she approaches her work at LINK Healthcare — not just caring for individuals, but contributing to the health of the broader community she serves.
